Yes.  We are currently in contracted as in-network providers through Aetna and Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield.  

Alternatively, you can also utilize out-of-network benefits if your plan allows.  We can provide a Superbill, which is essentially a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider. Many clients receive 50-100% reimbursement after their deductible is met.  Often out-of-network coverage ends up being similar to in-network providers.

With much deliberation and fair points on both sides of this decision, we have concluded not to utilize a sliding fee for services. We can however refer you to low cost agencies, providers and/or clinician’s in training who may accept lower fees. Also note that we give back to help support community mental health resources. Further, we have interest in providing group therapy at a reduced rate. If you would be interested in joining a virtual therapy group, please message us with your interest and we’ll try to put something together if we can gather enough clients with similar interests. 

You can pay out of pocket:

• Payments can be received via credit card, debit card,  HSA card (Health Savings Account), or FSA card (Flexible Spending Account).
  

*All new patients must have a payment method on file to hold appointments.

You can utilize in-network insurance benefits through Aetna or Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield.  

• We simply bill your insurance directly and charge you your portion depending on your particular insurance plan.  
• Please contact your insurance company ahead of time to verify the details of your specific insurance plan.

If you decide to utilize your out-of-network insurance benefits:

• You will pay for the session at the time of service.
• I will then provide a Superbill (receipt) monthly, or whatever time increment you prefer, that you can submit directly to your insurance company.  They will then reimburse you according to your out-of-network benefits plan.
• I also encourage you to call your insurance company ahead of time to inquire about your benefits coverage so that there are no surpises.

Rooted Well Counseling identifies competitive and commensurate rates by balancing market rates and business expenses.  Rates are adjusted annually based on federal inflation rates so that we can continue keeping up with our bills, provide for our family, and continue offering the high quality of care you expect and deserve.
